Social Responsibility<\/h1>\n

AT AGC CHEMICALS AMERICAS, we actively work to create a corporate culture of sustainability and community responsibility. This includes programs and research that protect the safety of the environment and our employees, customers and community. In other activities, AGC employees donate time and talent to support our neighbors and local area.<\/p>\n

Sustainability is at the heart of our mission. We are committed to minimizing our environmental impact while continuing to deliver high-performance solutions in a rapidly evolving world. With the release of our inaugural Sustainability Report, we reaffirm our dedication to product stewardship, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement across our operations.<\/p>\n

In 2025, AGC achieved a EcoVadis Silver rating<\/a> recognizing its strong performance in environmental stewardship, ethics, labor and human rights, and sustainable procurement. This rating places AGC among the top 15% of companies assessed worldwide and reflects its dedication to transparency, continuous improvement and responsible chemistry.<\/p>\n

Chemistry for a Blue Planet<\/h3>\n

As part of this global program of AGC Inc., we are always working to reduce environmental impact by supplying chemicals needed to make sustainable products and by developing and continually improving processes that save energy and prevent environmental pollution.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Recycled Circular Fluorite<\/h3>\n
\n\t

AGC has successfully produced \u201crecycled circular fluorite\u201d at a level that allows it to be reused in fluorochemical products, making it possible to recycle fluorine derived from natural fluorite. Learn more.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Downingtown Area School District STEM Academy<\/h3>\n

Since 2010, students have spent a day at our headquarters to learn about the company and perform hands-on activities in the labs with our professional chemists. Our employees visit the classrooms to provide information to chemistry students about working in the field. Students also can fulfill the career exploration portion of their curriculum by shadowing our scientists at work. We also donate to scholarship funds and sponsor fundraising golf outings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Honey Brook Food Pantry<\/h3>\n

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health<\/h3>\n

We answered the call for face masks during the pandemic. This helped protect patients and staff from spreading or contracting the COVID-19 virus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia<\/h3>\n

We sponsor the Cherry Blossom Run to support the society and raise funds for Shofuso, a 17th<\/sup>-century-style Japanese house and gardens.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Employees\u2019 children attending Penn State raise funds for the cause and participate in the annual 46-hour dance marathon fundraiser.
