Products for Aerospace

Paint systems formulated with LUMIFLON® FEVE Resins improve the appearance and reduce the life cycle costs of civilian and military aircrafts.

A variety of Fluon+ Melt Processable Compounds provide properties such as adhesion, flexibility, mechanical strength, chemical resistance and conductivity. These are choice materials for lightweight, high voltage cable used in emerging transit solutions such as electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) and drones.

Also, airframe wire made with Fluon+™ MPC cross-linked ETFE compounds have increased mechanical properties at elevated temperatures and are inherently flame retardant.

They are also used to make release film and vacuum bagging materials for aerospace composites.

AsahiKlin™ and AMOLEA™ fluorsolvents enable bearings used in aerospace applications to be precision cleaned.

AFLAS™ fluoroelastomers and Fluon+™ Filled PTFE Compounds are used for a variety of critical seals and components. These include landing gear and flight control systems to engines, brakes, fuel and hydraulic utility systems.
