As we stand united in this challenging time, AGC is open and ready to support your materials needs. We are continuing to operate as a Life-Sustaining Business as outlined by Pennsylvania Governor, Tom Wolf, and all employees are following social distancing practices and CDC-recommended mitigation measures. At this time, we don’t anticipate any disruption to our ability to supply fluorochemicals and specialty materials. However, we will continue to closely monitor the situation as it continues to rapidly evolve.

AGC stands ready to help in the battle against the Coronavirus pandemic

AGC is ready to help medical equipment OEMs maintain their supply chains so they can meet our nation’s unprecedented demand for PPE and equipment to battle this ongoing pandemic. AGC currently has a ready supply of the following enhanced materials:

• PTFE for seals, gaskets and other ventilator components
• PFA, ETFE and other advanced materials for medical tubes, hoses and films
• Water and oil repellents for disposable medical garments
• FDA compliant elastomeric materials for critical seals and gaskets

In addition to delivering technologies used in ventilators and PPE, AGC materials are used as engine parts in the trucks, planes and other equipment used to transport, distribute and store medical supplies used by healthcare workers on the front line. We are also working to fast-track the development of an ETFE film with anti-microbial coatings. This film could be used to wrap the walls of mobile hospitals, helping to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
