EcoVadis, a globally recognized independent organization that evaluates companies on their sustainability performance, has awarded AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc., (AGCCA) a Silver
Rating.
This assessment recognizes AGCCA’s strong performance in environmental stewardship, ethics, labor and human rights, and sustainable procurement, placing it among the top 15% of companies EcoVadis assesses worldwide.
Earning a silver rating reflects the strength of AGCCA’s sustainability framework and the dedication of its cross-functional teams to transparency, continuous improvement and responsible chemistry.
As AGCCA continues to advance its sustainability strategy, the company is focused on:
- Driving circularity through innovation, material efficiency and waste reduction.
- Ongoing measurement and reduction of Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions to better understand and minimize the company’s value-chain impact.
- Strengthening sustainable procurement to build resilience and transparency throughout its supply chain.
These efforts support AGCCA’s three sustainability pillars, Technology, Environment, and People & Communities, as the company continues its journey toward even higher EcoVadis achievements in the years ahead.
“Receiving this recognition underscores our continued focus on integrating sustainability into every aspect of our business,” said Gary Eckrote, senior director of commercial operations at AGC Chemicals Americas. “Looking ahead, we remain focused on embedding sustainability deeper into our operations and decision-making to support long-term value for our stakeholders.”
