AFLAS FFKM Series

Elastomer grades with the highest levels of chemical and thermal resistance.

AFLAS® FFKM is recognized as one of the most durable fluoroelastomers available, providing exceptional resistance to extreme temperatures, aggressive chemicals and plasma exposure. Fluorosolvent-free and Surfactant-free AFLAS FFKM grades are now available that provide the same performance, but are manufactured without the use of surfactants or fluorinated polymerization solvents. This innovation responds directly to growing industry demand for advanced materials that support cleaner manufacturing processes without compromising reliability or durability.

Surfactant- and Fluorinated Solvent-Free

These grades are produced using AGC’s proprietary surfactant- and fluorosolvent-free polymerization technology to align with evolving environmental and process requirements, particularly in semiconductor manufacturing. The grades commercially available now are focused on high-temperature-resistant FFKM for semiconductor manufacturing. Additional grades will be introduced as the technology is expanded across the AFLAS FFKM portfolio.
